How ETNOWE customers agree to receive text messages
ETNOWE is a grocery and restaurant delivery service in the United States. Customers order from local stores and restaurants through the ETNOWE mobile app and have their order delivered to them.
This page documents exactly when and how a person gives ETNOWE permission to send them text messages, and what those messages contain.

Where consent is given
A customer enters their mobile number when they create an ETNOWE account in the app. The disclosure below appears directly beneath the phone number field on that screen, before the account is created. Entering the number and continuing is the moment of consent.

What ETNOWE sends
There are two separate groups of recipients, with two separate consent routes. They are described here separately because they are not the same thing.
Customers who created an account
Consent is given in the app at account creation, as described above. These customers receive:
- Order confirmed
- Order out for delivery
- Order delivered
- The store changed something about the order
- One time codes for verifying the account
- Occasional offers
Merchants who asked to be texted
Consent is given verbally on a recorded call, as described in section 05. These merchants receive:
- A link to the merchant signup app
Nothing else is sent to this group. A merchant who later creates a customer account gives separate consent in the app.
Frequency, stopping, and help
How often
Messages are tied to order activity, so there is no fixed schedule. A customer who places no orders receives no order messages. A customer placing an order typically receives three to four messages for that order.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help, or email support@etnowe.com.
Cost
Standard message and data rates may apply. ETNOWE does not charge for text messages.
Giving a mobile number is part of placing an order, so ETNOWE can reach you about it. Replying STOP stops every message, including promotional ones, and never affects your ability to order.
Mobile numbers are never sold, rented, or shared with anyone else for marketing purposes.

Merchant consent, in detail
Merchants do not sign up through a form. A member of the ETNOWE team calls the store or restaurant directly. During that call the merchant is asked whether ETNOWE may text them a link to the merchant signup app. If the merchant says yes, that verbal agreement is the consent.
The call is recorded and the agreement is recorded in the call transcript, which ETNOWE retains. No merchant is texted without that recorded yes. Merchants can reply STOP at any time, the same as customers.
- 1ETNOWE calls the merchant
- 2The merchant is asked if ETNOWE may text them the signup link
- 3The merchant says yes, and it is captured in the recorded transcript
- 4One message with the signup link is sent
